From Powerless to Powerful

From Powerless to Powerful

For years I identified myself by what my abuser did to me.

Seeing myself through the lens of my abuse left me feeling powerless. All the time. Victim. All the time. Ashamed. Not worthy, unloved, weak. All the time.

I remember a time when I said NO MORE. This is not who I am. I am taking my power back!

You can too!

I’m not that little girl curled up on the bathroom floor, crying and confused.

I am not weak. I am not a victim. I am not without power and strength. My father had all the power and strength when I was a child. Not anymore.

I am a Christ warrior. I am an overcomer. I am a victorious child of God.

You are, too, sweet sister. Stand strong, today!

Ephesians 6:1, Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.
