God Loves You. Really.

God Loves You. Really.

Greg and Pennelope

We didn’t come into this world scathed, broken and with a shameful identity. God is so clear in the Bible about the unique and purposeful design of each of us. He describes our creation in detail, each with unique characteristics He instilled in us. Not one of us the same. Our exclusive fingerprint never duplicated. Each strand of hair numbered by God Himself. Knit together in our mother’s womb, He loved us before we were breathed into existence (Jeremiah 1:5).

Nothing about you surprises God; not one thing. Your humor, your laugh, the things you struggle with, your fears and pet peeves, the tears you’ve shed, your gifts and talents and what makes you smile. Your beautiful heart that cares about things He specifically instilled in you. He knew the world needed you, at just this time.

Each one of us is a gift from God. He says, “we are fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14).

Take some time to think about and pray about this verse in 1 John 4:16: “We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love.” Ask God to help you believe in the deepest part of you that God loves you and that will never change.
